Currently, there is a growing awareness of the development of the country's logistics system, as it is seen as a crucial tool for economic system development. This means it will help improve the business capabilities of the private sector, enhance the competitiveness of industries, and positively impact the country's competitive capacity. However, Thailand is currently facing a shortage of qualified and experienced logistics instructors to produce sufficient and quality personnel in logistics to meet both qualitative and quantitative demands of the labor market or employers. Therefore, the profession of logistics instructor is in high demand (National Economic and Social Development Board, 2006) and is sought after by educational institutions.
Qualifications of Professionals
- If being an instructor in an educational institution, the instructor should have graduated in transportation logistics or transportation information technology, or laws related to logistics and warehousing.
- In the case of guest lecturers, they should have management experience in logistics and a good understanding of warehouse management systems or transportation.
- Should have experience and knowledge in procurement, transportation, or have worked in related transportation fields, with a sense of sacrifice and reason.
- Capable of reasoning in expressing opinions in a systematic, clear, and concise manner.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about teaching, with love and compassion for students.
- Should have a broad worldview.
- Strong and healthy physical condition.
