Currently, the industry has research and development institutes for jewelry that analyze gemstones, and the government has initiated the Bangkok Fashion City project to position Thailand as part of the global design and fashion world, which will support further growth in the industry. Therefore, the demand for metal mold carvers will continue to exist.

Qualifications for the Profession

• Graduated with a vocational certificate (Vocational Certificate) or a higher vocational certificate (Higher Vocational Certificate) in craftsmanship, metalwork, jewelry, or related fields
• Observant and creative
• Consistently seeking additional knowledge
• Detail-oriented in work
• Working with caution and considering safety for oneself and colleagues
• Inspecting the quality of materials, equipment, and tools to ensure they are in usable and safe condition
