Job Opportunities / Market Demand / Market Trends
Over the past decade, the Thai fashion design industry has achieved a certain level of success with ready-to-wear clothing produced under Thai brands being exported abroad, such as Fly Now. There is also support for designing unique silk patterns and providing colors according to international customer preferences. At the same time, many foreign fashion institutions are increasingly interested in the unique dressing styles, culture, and lifestyles of Asians, which will help support the development of clothing design in Thailand. Additionally, the government has policies promoting the use of Thai products, especially ready-to-wear clothing and standard textile products for export. These factors are supportive and represent a positive trend for those wishing to pursue this profession.
